Urszula Wozniak is part of a network of young Turkish and European leaders from all sectors who come together once a year to engage in intensive dialogue and to share views and ideas about topical social issues. The Turkey Europe Future Forum takes place alternately in Turkey and Germany, as well as in other European countries.

Short biography

Urszula Wozniak is an anthropologist currently based in Berlin. She works as a research fellow at the Department of Social Science at the Humboldt University of Berlin in the research project TRANSFORmiG, funded by the European Research Council. Urszula has studied European Ethnology, Art History and Political Science in Marburg, Berlin and Copenhagen and obtained her M.A. from the Humboldt University Berlin in 2011. Prior to her current position as a doctoral researcher, she has worked as a cultural practitioner and in civic education and has curated and coordinated exhibitions, theatre productions and conferences in Berlin and Istanbul. Her research interests include urban studies, migration and transnational studies, cultural policy, visual culture as well as contemporary Turkish studies.
