Project title

Effective Emergency First Response: Cooperation mechanism between civil humanitarian actors and national militaries

Short biography

Tim Rutishauser studied International Public Management at Sciences Po Paris before taking further specialised training in humanitarian disaster response at the Collaboration Centre for Oxford University and the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CCOUC). He gained professional experience in Cambodia while working on a large range of development issues and developed the French Red Cross’ future Disaster Risk Reduction strategy in the field of food security in Cambodia. As a Mercator fellow, Tim will focus on issues of an effective emergency first response to humanitarian crises.
