The road from Paris: Market mechanisms in the fight against climate change

Short biography

Simon Fellermeyer studied International Business Administration at Erasmus University Rotterdam and Fundação Getulio Vargas São Paulo. Subsequently, he completed the double master’s degree in International Economic Policy and International Political Economy at Sciences Po Paris and the London School of Economics and Political Science. Simon gained professional experience at the Brussels-based public affairs consulting firms Eacon and Cicero Group, the German Development Bank (KfW) in Jordan as well as the sustainability consultancy Earth Security Group in London. As a Mercator Fellow, he will explore the potential of market-based mechanisms in the fight against climate change.
