Migration and Refugee Policies within the Framework of EU-Turkey Relations

Project description

Shalva Dzidziguri is part of a network of young Turkish and European leaders from all sectors who come together once a year to engage in intensive dialogue and to share views and ideas about topical social issues. The Turkey Europe Future Forum takes place alternately in Turkey and Germany, as well as in other European countries.

Short biography

Shalva Dzidziguri is founder of the Center for Innovative Business Solutions (based in Tbilisi, Georgia) since January 2018. Previously, he worked in Brussels for the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, in Rome as a Partnership for Peace (PfP) research fellow at the NATO Defense College and, in Vienna, for the OSCE Mission to Georgia. From 2004 to 2005, he spent seven months in Baqubah, Iraq as a Georgian Army Peacekeeper and was awarded the Certificate of Appreciation for Noble and Meritorious Service in Peacekeeping Operations in Iraq. He holds an MA from Central European University in Budapest with a focus on international relations and European studies.
