Sezen Gücüş-Tidim is part of a network of young Turkish and European leaders from all sectors who come together once a year to engage in intensive dialogue and to share views and ideas about topical social issues. The Turkey Europe Future Forum takes place alternately in Turkey and Germany, as well as in other European countries.

Short biography

Sezen Gücüş Tidim works with Malteser International Turkey/Syria Program as Senior Finance & Admin Officer. She is part of a team that manages and supports health, education and community support programs for Syrians through implementing partners. She is also responsible for relations with the related government offices and ministries. She has work experience in various INGOs in finance and external relations fields. Prior to working in the humanitarian field, she used to work with local NGOs to develop cultural and anti-discrimination projects. Sezen holds a BSc in Political Science & Public Administration from Middle East Technical University, and a MA in Political Science from University of Warsaw. Besides working in humanitarian aid, Sezen is currently conducting a research project on child labor among refugees in Gaziantep, Turkey.
