During his fellowship year, Sebastian Heinz explores how approaches such as Climate-Smart Agriculture can decrease the ecological footprint of global food production, make the latter more resilient to climate change and improve the economic prospects of disadvantaged actors such as small-hold farmers. During his studies, Sebastian has worked for the international research program Future Earth in Paris, Allianz Climate Solutions and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Beijing. He holds a master’s degree in Sustainable Resource Management from TU Munich and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Konstanz.
