Sara-Sumie Yang is Head of the personal office of Ambassador Wolfgang Ischinger, Chairman of the Munich Security Conference (MSC) and Global Head of Public Policy and Economic Research of Allianz SE. Besides her involvement in the conceptual and operational preparation of the MSC and the MSC Core Group Meetings, Sara has initiated several video projects and is responsible for coordinating all MSC film productions. For Allianz, she contributed to the establishment of the “Berlin Demography Forum” and initiated a social media project on the Rio+20 conference. Previously, she worked for the United Nations Secretariat in New York and for a management consultancy. She studied Political Science and International Relations at Ludwig Maximilian University, Munich, and Free University, Berlin. She holds an M.A. in Political Science from Columbia University, New York. Her key areas of interest include photography and documentary film. In 2013, she initiated and organized a photo exhibition on migration and integration in Europe which took place in Cluj, Munich and Prague.
