Nina Köksalan from Duisburg studied Geography in Cologne and Vancouver. After her studies she worked for the United Nations University in Tokio and at the Institute for Technology and Resources Management in the Tropics and Subtropics. As a Mercator Fellow she explored the consequences of climate change for the agriculture in the Bolivian high plateau. Her project focused on adaption strategies in the agricultural policy. Nina Köksalan now works for the FAO in Rome.
