Nicola Forster, born 1985, lives in Zurich and is a law graduate with studies in Zurich, Montpellier and Lausanne. After successfully directing a political campaign on the free movement of persons, he founded the grassroots think tank "foraus – Swiss Forum on Foreign Policy". Meanwhile the think tank already counts more than 600 graduates and young professionals and offers a unique platform for their foreign policy expertise. As a Mercator Fellow, Nicola strives for the creation of innovative think tank formats on international politics.
