Muhammed Yilmaz is part of a network of young Turkish and European leaders from all sectors who come together once a year to engage in intensive dialogue and to share views and ideas about topical social issues. The Turkey Europe Future Forum takes place alternately in Turkey and Germany, as well as in other European countries.

Short biography

Muhammed Yilmaz is a lawyer specializing in IT and data protection law, as well as commercial and competition law. He has extensive experience in drafting contracts for SaaS services, data protection agreements, and employment law matters. He also advises companies on complying with regulatory requirements, particularly in the areas of digital products and artificial intelligence.

His professional career has taken him through various positions in Germany, the United Kingdom, Turkey, and Malaysia. In these roles, he held senior responsibilities, including contract and compliance management as well as litigation. He studied law with a focus on International and European Law at the Universities of Frankfurt am Main and Lausanne and further specialized through a Master’s degree in IT, Intellectual Property, and AI Law at the Saarland University.

Beyond his legal practice, he has a strong interest in foreign policy, particularly EU–Turkey relations, the MENA region, diplomacy, and international human rights.
