Meltem Ersoy is part of a network of young Turkish and European leaders from all sectors who come together once a year to engage in intensive dialogue and to share views and ideas about topical social issues. The Turkey Europe Future Forum takes place alternately in Turkey and Germany, as well as in other European countries.

Short biography

Meltem Ersoy works as lecturer at Okan University. Her academic work specializes in Turkish politics, transformation of political parties, political Islam and conflict resolution. She received her PhD in Political Science from George Mason University with her dissertation entitled "Political Crisis and Party Transformation". Meltem coordinated the Contemporary Turkey at a Glance II Conference and co-edited the publication under the same title. She worked as a project manager for the Political Party and Electoral System Reform in Turkey, coordinated the Strengthening the System of Checks and Balances in Turkey through Constitutional Reform project and co-organized the Young Turkey Young America Program at Istanbul Policy Center. Meltem is a freelance writer on literature, and a blogger.
