Mehmet Emre Gür is part of a network of young Turkish and European leaders from all sectors who come together once a year to engage in intensive dialogue and to share views and ideas about topical social issues. The Turkey Europe Future Forum takes place alternately in Turkey and Germany, as well as in other European countries.
Mehmet Emre Gür works at the crossroads of the Civil Society and Social Impact with engagement in various organizations. He is the cofounder of Katalist and as a consultant on social impact, he is engaged in various programmes like Sivil Düşün. He is also Secretary General of Turkiye Europe Foundation and President of European Movement Turkiye. He continues to teach and research in European Institute-CIFE in which he is also the alumni director.His main interests are: civil society, democracy and politics in the EU and Turkey, social development projects, youth and women policies as well as food and agriculture policies. He worked for various institutions including NGOs, universities and international organisations mainly in the fields related to social policies and as a consultant and trainer for project management. Emre co-authored a book on Best Practices of Youth Participation and wrote articles on contemporary Turkey.
