Short biography

 Jasper Tjaden studied History, Communications and European Politics in Berlin, Sevilla and London. His main fields of study were Migration, Nationalism and Public Policy. He gained work experience as a journalist, at NGOs, as well as at international organizations. As a Mercator Fellow, he focused on the trend towards internationalization in the policy of integration concerning immigrants to Europe. After his Mercator year, he worked at the Migration Policy Group in Brussels. Jasper Tjaden writes his doctorate as a Research Fellow at the Bamberg Graduate School of Social Sciences (BAGSS).
