During the Mercator Fellowship, Bea Albermann will focus on the interconnectedness of the climate and ecological crisis and our health – in short: planetary health. She is particularly interested in political leverage points for health governance within the planetary boundaries and for a systemic transformation towards more sustainability. Bea studied medicine at the Universities of Zurich and Lausanne and worked as co-author on the national Planetary Health Strategy of the Swiss Medical Association. The former WHO youth delegate is passionate about health equity and environmental justice.
