Project description

Auveen Woods is part of a network of young Turkish and European leaders from all sectors who come together once a year to engage in intensive dialogue and to share views and ideas about topical social issues. The Turkey Europe Future Forum takes place alternately in Turkey and Germany, as well as in other European countries.

Short biography

Auveen Woods is the Deputy Operations Director at Dünya Doktorları Derneği (Médecins du Monde). Over the past five years, her work has supported humanitarian initiatives in Syria, Türkiye, Gaza, and Libya. Previously, Auveen spent three years at the Center for Civil Society and Democracy, a Syrian NGO focusing on gender, peacebuilding, and transition. Earlier, as a Research Associate at the Istanbul Policy Center, she conducted policy analysis and coordinated projects addressing critical challenges in Türkiye, Somalia, and Syria. Auveen holds an MA in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from Sabancı University and a BA in International Relations from Dublin City University.
