The Mercator European Dialogue gives national parliamentarians from European countries the opportunity to get to know one another and build mutual trust. Beyond the boundaries of political parties, committees and states, participants are encouraged in tailor-made seminars to work together on current challenges. During the third Mercator European Dialogue in Bratislava, members of national parliaments discussed the consequences of Brexit. In this context, the stances of the EU member states vis-à-vis Brexit are presented and analysed in a commentary by Dr Eleonora Poli from the Istituto Affari Internazionali.
