Anna Damaskou is part of a network of young Turkish and European leaders from all sectors who come together once a year to engage in intensive dialogue and to share views and ideas about topical social issues. The Turkey Europe Future Forum takes place alternately in Turkey and Germany, as well as in other European countries.
Anna Damaskou holds a post-doc from the University of Luxembourg in the fields of EU financial criminal law and EU Banking Union, a PhD from the Queen Mary University of London in the subject area of the criminal protection of the EU financial interests, as well as an LL.M from London School of Economics. Before joining the Compliance Department of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank, Anna worked for the Greek & Cypriot Desk of the European Central Bank Legal Service, the Hellenic Ministry of Development, the Hellenic Capital Market Commission, as well as the Compliance Directorate of the National Bank of Greece. Moreover, she has been a long-standing researcher for Transparency International - Greece, while she has published extensively in the fields of regulation, good governance and anti-corruption.
