Mare Ushkovska is part of a network of young Turkish and European leaders from all sectors who come together once a year to engage in intensive dialogue and to share views and ideas about topical social issues. The Turkey Europe Future Forum takes place alternately in Turkey and Germany, as well as in other European countries.
Mare Ushkovska is the representative of Invest Macedonia in the United Kingdom, working as a government consultant on foreign investment and trade opportunities in Macedonia. She is currently also pursuing a PhD in International Law at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje. Mare holds an MA in Diplomacy and International Relations from the same university, as well as an MSc in Public Policy from University College London. She is a scholar of the German think-tank Konrad Adenauer Stiftung and has received a research grant from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation. Previously, Mare was the vice-president of a youth political organisation, and volunteered in several civil society organisations, roles in which she gained experience with issues such as youth political empowerment and gender equality.
