Yasemin Dayioglu-Yücel

After receiving her PhD in German Literature at the University of Göttingen, Yasemin Dayıoğlu-Yücel held positions as DAAD lecturer at Istanbul University and as DAAD visiting professor at the University of Pennsylvania. She currently teaches at the University of Hildesheim with a focus on cross-cultural didactics. Yasemin’s research interests include transcultural studies, environmental humanities and the intersections between literature and digital media. She is co-founder and co-editor of "Turkish-German-Studies", an international and interdisciplinary peer-reviewed yearbook with articles in German, English, and Turkish.
