Şükran Şençekiçer is a journalist working for the independant turkish media outlet Medyascope. She is the anchor of the morning news, and she works as an editor and reporter. She studied political science and international relations at Boğaziçi University. She previously worked for 140journos, a media platform producing visual stories about Turkey. Having granted the International Journalists Program (IJP) Johannes Rau Bursary, she worked for Deutsche Welle in Bonn and Berlin for two months in 2019. She is interested in local and global politics, migration and social changes. Besides the morning news, she also hosts a weekly program titled “SosyoPolitik”.
