Short biography

Severin Pinilla, born in Schrobenhausen, studied medicine at LMU München (Germany), Harvard Medical School (USA) and Universidad de Zaragoza (Spain). He holds a Masters in Education (Harvard Graduate School of Education) and wrote his dissertation in oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center on breast cancer cell invasion. During the Mercator Fellowship, he is studying prevention strategies for non-communicable diseases.
