Selen Eşençay works as a journalist and reporter at TRT World in Istanbul. She produces news packages and follows the pressers at the Turkish Presidential Complex and the Turkish MFA. She completed her BA in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration at Bilkent University. She began her MA at Bilkent University in the Department of International Relations. Her MA thesis is on the influence of Poland’s domestic politics on its foreign policy with a particular emphasis on its ties with the EU. She hosts and moderates panels and symposiums organized by the Turkish MFA and the Directorate of Communications. She moderates the online panels organized by the Tactics Institute and the Washington Institute. She has participated in various projects and symposiums funded by the EU and NATO in Europe. She will study at the College of Europe in the Department of European Political and Governance Studies in Belgium funded by Turkey’s Secretariat General for EU Affairs, during the academic year 2022-2023.
