During his Senior Fellowship, Quentin Peel is focusing on two key topics: the future of Europe and Germany’s role in Europe in the past and in the future. He takes part in numerous events internationally and publishes on the challenges of a changing Europe.
Quentin Peel is currently a commentator for the Financial Times. From 2010 till 2014, he was chief correspondent in Germany. From 1998 till 2014, he worked as associate editor. Prior to this, he served at the Financial Times as international affairs editor, foreign editor, and chief foreign affairs columnist. He reported on perestroika in Moscow in 1988 and three years later covered the aftermath of German reunification in Bonn. He possesses broad expertise in issues concerning the European Union, Russia and the former Soviet Union, transatlantic relations and the Eurozone crisis.
