Demiroğlu’s project deals with the vulnerability of ski tourism in light of climate change in both Turkey and Germany.
Osman Cenk Demiroğlu is a tourismologist and a geographer. His research focuses on issues of sustainability and feasibility within the tourism and hospitality industry. After receiving his B.A. and M.A. degrees in tourism administration from Boğaziçi University and Istanbul University respectively, Cenk began pursuing his doctoral studies in the Geography Department at Istanbul University. While a scholar of the Swedish Institute, he obtained two M.Sc. degrees in human geography from Umeå University. He completed his PhD in December 2013 and then worked as a lecturer at Boğaziçi University.
