Niels Kunz examines the role of digital technologies in providing new individual and societal opportunities in the development context. His focus is on the sustainable implementation of digital education projects in sub-Saharan Africa. Niels has worked on various digital sustainable development projects, including at the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), the Campaign for Female Education (CAMFED) and the Center for Advanced Internet Studies (CAIS). He is co-founder of the NGO Next Generation Africa, which improves education access in Malawi through the use of digital tools. Niels holds an MPhil in Development Studies from the University of Cambridge.
