Marjanne de Haan is part of a network of young Turkish and European leaders from all sectors who come together once a year to engage in intensive dialogue and to share views and ideas about topical social issues. The Turkey Europe Future Forum takes place alternately in Turkey and Germany, as well as in other European countries.
Marjanne de Haan is the program and policy lead on refugees for Dutch peace organisation PAX. She is tasked with developing a multi-stranded program on EU refugee protection and migration policies from the perspective of conflict and human security. Prior to PAX, she worked with Amnesty International Netherlands, as an advocacy and campaign officer on refugee rights and as program manager of the Turkey program. She studied History and International Relations and started her professional life working as a program manager for the Dutch Turkey Institute.
