Feminist Foreign Policy: fighting sexualized violence in conflict and securing sustainable peace worldwide

Short biography

Kristina Lunz is an alumna of both University College London (with distinction) and the University of Oxford, where she read the ‘MSc in Global Governance and Diplomacy’. She gained professional experience at the Blavatnik School of Government and as research advisor to Dr. Scilla Elworthy, who has been nominated three times for the Nobel Peace Prize. Kristina regularly gives interviews on social justice and gender equality and speaks on panels, including at the European Parliament and the Global Media Forum. As a Mercator Fellow, she will explore how a feminist foreign policy can help to address sexualized violence in conflicts, post-conflict situations and humanitarian crises, and create sustainable peace worldwide.
