Short biography

Karoline Klose, born 1985, studied Social and Political Sciences at the University of Cambridge before obtaining a Dual Degree Master’s in Public Policy from the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin and in International Affairs/Security Policy, from the School of International and Public Affairs, Columbia University. In New York, she worked at the UN General Assembly and adviced UNICEF Uganda. She spent two years in Ethiopia working for an NGO focused on orphan girls as well as a consultant for GIZ advising the African Union. Most recently, she worked at the European Parliament as a foreign policy adviser. During her fellowship year, she will focus on gender sensitive institution building in countries which experienced major political changes due to a revolution or conflict.
