During her fellowship year, Jennifer Lehnen examines approaches to sustainable and development-oriented return and reintegration. She gained professional experience on the topic of migration and development at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Bogotá and at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in Eschborn. Before, she worked as project manager with Social Impact in start-up consultancy for returning migrants in Germany. Jennifer completed her master’s degree in Public Policy and Human Development with a specialization in Migration Studies at United Nations University-Merit in Maastricht and obtained her bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Management from the University of Regensburg and University of Buenos Aires.
