Short biography

Insa Nieberg studied European Studies with a focus on international relations and security studies in Magdeburg and Saint Petersburg and holds a Master’s degree from the University of Bath and Humboldt University of Berlin. She gained professional experience working for the Institute for European Politics in Berlin, the UNHCR Liaison Office to the OSCE in Vienna and GIZ in Berlin. During her fellowship, she will focus on different strategies to include non-state actors in political negotiations and mediation processes.
