Hannes Krey works as a policy officer at the Secretariat of the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs of the federal states. His focus of activity lies on the coordination of multilateral and European programmes in the educational and cultural sector; he represents the federal states in various national and international committees. His current main field of action is the next generation of the EU-program Erasmus+. Previously he was involved in the development of a strategic concept to tackle the challenges of digitization in education. Hannes graduated from Kiel University with a degree in psychology. Before his studies, he worked for several years as a shipwright in multinational teams in France and Italy.
