Gülseren Ölcüm is part of a network of young Turkish and European leaders from all sectors who come together once a year to engage in intensive dialogue and to share views and ideas about topical social issues. The Turkey Europe Future Forum takes place alternately in Turkey and Germany, as well as in other European countries.
Gülseren Ölcüm is a reporter for various TV channels such as funk, the youth channel of the German public broadcasters ARD and ZDF. She specialises in developing new media formats for young audiences. Her projects have included a series of documentaries for various programmes for ARD on the refugee issue, integration in Germany and gender issues. Gülseren studied Near and Middle Eastern Studies at FU Berlin and SOAS London as well as Media Studies and International Relations at Aarhus University and the University of Technology Sydney.
