Florian Egli holds a Master’s degree in international economics from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID) in Geneva. He has worked as a political consultant on innovation and environmental economics at Ecoplan AG, at the OECD and at the Centre for International Environmental Studies (CIES) in Geneva on innovation and environmental economics. He was global shaper of the World Economic Forum and member of the board of directors at foraus – Swiss Forum Foreign Policy. During his fellowship, he is investigating directed technological change towards a green economy with a focus on guiding policies and financing mechanisms.
