Project title

Prevention of pregnancy and neonatal complications in the Global South

Short biography

As a Mercator Fellow, Dr. Finn Holler focuses on transnational humanitarian and political aspects of maternal and child health. He is a physician and worked in the field of internal medicine at the University Hospital of Munich. Previously, he gained professional experience related to pregnancy and neonatal health in hospitals in Colombia as well as in the management of international health projects at the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in Berlin. As project manager of a fundraising platform he advocates access to medical care for internally displaced children in Colombia. Finn studied Medicine in Cologne, Sevilla and Rio de Janeiro. Subsequently, he earned his doctorate in the field of pediatric cardiology.
