Insurances against droughts in Sub-Saharan Africa

Short biography

Felix Lung, born 1986, completed his law degree at Bucerius Law School and gathered first professional experiences with GIZ, the German Foreign Office, the UN World Food Program, and as an associate of Roland Berger Strategy Consultants. Since 2009, he has been involved in building up the non-governmental organization PROJECT-E in Ethiopia. Subsequently, he studied Economics and International Development at the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) at Johns Hopkins University. During his Mercator Fellowship, Felix will work with different institutions on insurance concepts against drought for smallholder farmers in sub-Sahara Africa.
