Emil Tan works as an NGO and International Relations Specialist at Kale Group, coordinating sustainability, public and corporate affairs. Previously, he worked with the European Parliament and the EU Delegation in Turkey. In addition, he was a member of the European Health Parliament in Brussels and the Vice-Chair of AEGEE Canterbury, UK.
Mr. Tan participated in the Jessup Competition with the Italian team and received the best speaker award in the case concerning sustainable development and human rights law. Along with TÜSİAD, he represented Turkish Businesses at the COP26 in Glasgow. He currently serves as Deputy Co-Chair at the WiBAC in B20 2022 and is a member of CIIM EurAsiaMed.
Mr. Tan obtained his B.A. with honours in Politics and International Relations from the University of Kent, UK; his Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the University of Law in London; his LL.M. degree in Sustainable Development from the University of Milan in Italy and M.A. in European Governance Studies from the College of Europe, Belgium.
