Short biography

Daniel Palmer from Zurich completed his bachelor’s degree at the University St. Gallen and a double degree at the University St. Gallen and the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. The focus of his studies was resolution of conflicts, negotiations, international peace missions and civil and military cooperation. As a Mercator Fellow, he focused on the transition period from short-term conflict resolutions towards a long-term development politic in former areas of conflict, for example in Burundi.
