As a Mercator Fellow, Christoffer Horlitz explores technologies for the detection and prevention of mass atrocities. He is interested in ethical ways of using data in crisis areas. Christoffer studied International Relations in Berlin and New York focusing on digital human rights and migration. He gained professional working experiences at the UN Office of Genocide Prevention, the UNESCO, WZB Berlin Social Science Center and as a curator of international politics and arts projects. Most recently, he worked as the assistant to the General Secretary at Amnesty International Germany.
