Short biography

Aysu works as the Programme Manager for the Cultural Dialogue area at Anadolu Kültür, a non-profit cultural organisation based in Istanbul. Since 2016, she has been involved in designing and managing cross-border programmes, focusing on cultural and artistic collaborations and exchanges across Turkey, Europe and Iran. As a cultural worker, she collaborates closely with independent art organisations, artists, and collectives, while also liaising with various funding and networking entities in Europe. She is also interested in art mediation and hybrid approaches to curatorial practices, having participated in several training programmes in Amsterdam, Berlin, and Vienna. In 2023, she was awarded a scholarship by the Martin Roth Initiative for a three-month cultural research residency in Athens. She studied Psychology at the Middle East Technical University (METU) and holds an M.A. in Critical and Cultural Studies from Boğaziçi University.
