Andrea Schill

As a Mercator Fellow, Andrea Schill explores approaches at the factory, company and government level that contribute to improving working conditions in the textiles and garment sector. She has gained professional experience in this field at the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, where she worked as a programme officer for trade, development, labour, and social policy in Geneva as well as a research assistant in the Asia department in Berlin. Furthermore, she has gained work experience at Focus on Labour Exploitation, the German Embassy in London and a PR agency. Andrea studied Political Science at the University of Passau, the University of Sussex, and the University of Potsdam.
