Short biography

Ana-Maria Crăciun is a Senior Consultant at EY, where she works in evaluation and research for European institutions, including the European Commission and the European Parliament. She has worked extensively on impact assessments, monitoring frameworks, and evaluations across a wide range of EU policy areas, such as public health, justice and consumer protection, environment, digitalisation, and maritime affairs. Ana holds a Master’s degree in Development and International Relations from Aalborg University in Denmark and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and European Studies from Alexandru Ioan Cuza University in Romania. She also recently completed a course on data science at Oxford University. In 2024, Ana presented two panels at the European Evaluation Society (EES) Conference in Rimini, sharing insights from her evaluation work and contributing to the broader dialogue on evidence-based policymaking in Europe. In addition to her academic and professional work, Ana has contributed to international development projects in Turkey, Denmark, and Pakistan, and has participated in numerous trainings and seminars such as the Digital Citizenship Training in Serbia and the Peace and Security Youth Forum in Azerbaijan.
