As a Mercator Fellow, Alissa Siara explores how public-private partnerships can be designed to facilitate social innovation and support the implementation of the 17 UN sustainable development goals in Latin America. Previously, she gained professional experience at the intersection of innovation and economic development at the University of St.Gallen’s Chair of Business Innovation and the Sonoma County Economic Development Board in the United States. Alissa holds a BA in International Affairs from the University of St.Gallen with stays abroad in Chile, and a MSc in International Political Economy from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
