Adrian Mattmann is driven by the quest of how digital financial services lead to financial inclusion. As a Mercator Fellow, he specializes on mobile financial services in emerging markets including mobile payment, credit and insurance solutions. Previously, Adrian has gained professional experience at an insurance provider, the Swiss Department of Foreign Affairs in Canada and a think-tank on foreign policy both in Belgium and Switzerland. He holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of Bern with distinction and a Master in European Studies from the College of Europe in Bruges.
