Gabriele Geertz, Chief Financial Officer at Stiftung Mercator, will be leaving the foundation for personal reasons as of 1 September 2014. Rüdiger Frohn, Chairman of the Advisory Board of Stiftung Mercator: “Stiftung Mercator’s boards, and indeed I personally, would like to thank Ms Geertz for her successful work during the period of reorientation and preparation of the Mercator 2020 strategic phase, a process she enriched with many valuable ideas and suggestions. We wish her all the very best for the future.” Until the position can be refilled, fellow Executive Board members Winfried Kneip, Wolfgang Rohe and Michael Schwarz will jointly assume Gabriele Geertz’s responsibilities.
