Ayşe Duygu Fendal is part of a network of young Turkish and European leaders from all sectors who come together once a year to engage in intensive dialogue and to share views and ideas about topical social issues. The Turkey Europe Future Forum takes place alternately in Turkey and Germany, as well as in other European countries.

Short biography

Duygu Fendal is currently a Programme Manager at IBC, a Turkish NGO in the humanitarian
sector. She coordinates national and international projects related to Syrian refugees in cooperation with international donors such as UN agencies, development organisations and EU funds. In addition to emergency and migration projects, she is also experienced in development projects, especially on education of children and youth.  Prior to her current assignment, she worked at TEGV ( Educational Volunteers Foundation of Turkey ) as a Volunteer Coordination Specialist and was responsible for developing volunteer recruitment strategies. Related to her professional and personal interest in volunteerism, she has been one of the founding members of the National Volunteering Committee in Turkey. Duygu holds an MSc from Political Science and Public Administration Department of Middle East Technical University  (METU- ODTÜ) following her undergraduate degree from Galatasaray University Sociology Department.
