Project description

Kristin Joachim is part of a network of young Turkish and European leaders from all sectors who come together once a year to engage in intensive dialogue and to share views and ideas about topical social issues. The Turkey Europe Future Forum takes place alternately in Turkey and Germany, as well as in other European countries.

Short biography

Kristin Joachim is a Correspondent for ARD Television in Berlin covering national politics. Her focus is on environmental, transport and development issues, foreign policy and on the green party. Previously, she has been working as a reporter and editor for rbb Television, covering national issues in Berlin and Brandenburg but has also been acting as a substitute in the ARD studio Warsaw and as a reporter during the Olympics in London. Kristin started her carrer as a journalist at the French-German TV channel ARTE, covering stories in Germany, France, Austria, the Czech Republic, Poland and Denmark. She studied romance studies, modern history and political economics at Humboldt University of Berlin and at Université Michel Montaigne in Bordeaux.
