Project description

Georg Caspary is part of a network of young German and Chinese leaders from all sectors who come together to engage in intensive dialogue and to undergo further professional and intercultural training. The Zukunftsbrücke – Chinese-German Young Professional Campus takes place in alternate years in China and Germany.

Short biography

Georg Caspary is Relationship Manager on climate change with the International Finance Cooperation at the World Bank. Since joining the World Bank in 2006, he has been working in various capacities focusing on program implementation and policy consulting in the energy and environment sector. Georg was previously at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) for five years. He has published some 50 articles in scientific journals and the press, and has taught in various universities and think tanks around the world. He was recently featured as one of ‘40 German leaders under 40’ in the public and nonprofit sector by Capital Magazine. He studied economics, politics and philosophy at Oxford University, Sciences Po Paris and the London School of Economics.
