Project title

Success stories – new ideas, narratives and formats for more climate protection

Project description

During the course of his fellowship, Ulrich Hauser wishes to explore new ideas and formats with a view to making climate change a broad public topic and using solution-oriented and motivating messages to encourage more people to get involved in climate protection. To this end, he plans among other things to work together with school students from the Fridays For Future movement.

Short biography

Ulrich Hauser has worked as a reporter for stern magazine in Hamburg since 1992. He is the author of several non-fiction books (including "Jedes Kind ist hoch begabt" and "Würde", both with Gerald Hüther) and the person behind a large number of successful civil society initiatives such as the "Mut gegen rechte Gewalt" and "Familien in Not" campaigns. For stern, he has more recently been following the pupils in the #FridaysForFuture movement that have been taking to the streets all over the world to promote more climate protection.
