Jan Rudolph is part of a network of young German and Chinese leaders from all sectors who come together to engage in intensive dialogue and to undergo further professional and intercultural training. The Zukunftsbrücke – Chinese-German Young Professional Campus takes place in alternate years in China and Germany.
Jan Rudolph is Deputy Director of the German Federal Foreign Office‘s East Asia Division, which covers relations with China, Japan, North and South Korea, as well as Mongolia. He is in charge of German-Chinese relations, including the preparation of the intergovernmental Consultations between both countries. During the first half of his career, Jan was posted in Beijing successively as political/protocol officer, cultural attaché and in public relations. He also served as German Vice Ambassador to the Republic of Albania and was in charge of Consular and Legal Affairs, Economic Co-operation and Development, as well as setting up the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Albania (DIHA). Subsequently, he was delegated to the German Federal Ministry for Economics and Technology. Jan holds a double degree from the Wissenschaftliche Hochschule für Unternehmensführung (WHU Koblenz, University Diploma of Business Administration/ Corporate Management) and the Ecole de Management/ Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Lyon (EM/ESC Lyon, Diplôme de Grande Ecole).
