Han Chunxia is part of a network of young German and Chinese leaders from all sectors who come together to engage in intensive dialogue and to undergo further professional and intercultural training. The Zukunftsbrücke – Chinese-German Young Professional Campus takes place in alternate years in China and Germany.
Han Chunxia joined the China Charity Federation (CCF) in 2007, where she works at the Foreign Affairs Office. She is in charge of relations with overseas NGOs, especially United Way Worldwide (UWW), an American-based NGO federation with 1800 member organizations in 46 countries and territories. Since 2011, she also manages the CCF-BMW Warm Heart Fund. BMW China and BMW Brilliance Automotive made a joint initial contribution to CCF after the Wenchuan Earthquake and set up the fund, which is dedicated to education, intangible cultural heritage preservation, environmental protection, disaster relief and social care. In China it supports building up a volunteerism platform for BMW employees, car owners and recipients. Before joining CCF, Chunxia graduated from Beijing International Studies University with a Bachelor of Arts. Chunxia was a volunteer at the 2nd China-European Union Business Summit in 2005 and the 2nd China-Africa Cooperation Forum in Beijing in 2006.
